E-quality: Linking quality and social inclusion in higher education in Croatia, European Commission, Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA)

This project is co-ordinated by the Institute for the Development of Education in Croatia. It involves the following project partners:

• Agency for Science and Higher Education
• Association for Higher Education Development "Universitas"
• Institute for Social Research
• University of Applied Sciences "Marko Marulic" in Knin
• University of Rijeka
• University of Zadar

The overall objective for the project is to develop an institutional quality culture at higher education institutions in Croatia which values social inclusion as one of its core elements. This includes developing socially inclusive quality assurance procedures at partner higher education institutions; and developing and piloting “quality label” to be awarded to socially inclusive higher education institutions in Croatia.
Liz Thomas Associates have been appointed at the international experts, participating in key project meetings, workshop and the final conference. Liz Thomas Associates will provide input about effective practice to enhance the quality of higher education for students from under-represented and disadvantaged groups, lead developmental workshops and provide expert assistance in revision of policy guidelines, recommendations and the final project report.
